Our Story

The Dodgeville Area Scholarship Foundation, Inc. (DASFI), established in 1998, is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation whose sole purpose is to provide scholarship opportunities for Dodgeville High School (DHS) graduates.

Scholarships were first awarded to the DHS Class of 1999.

Our Approach

DASFI is governed by a Board of Directors whose key responsibilities include:

  • Building awareness of DASFI within the community and alumni population
  • Supporting DASFI fundraising activities such as our annual golf outing and annual giving campaign
  • Overseeing the financial stability of DASFI
  • Approving scholarships to be awarded (count and dollar amount) each year
  • Evaluating Scholarship applications
  • Presenting scholarships at DHS awards night
